A. Have the Craic is a social club. The members of the club can meet online, they can meet at the pre-organised events that we run for members of our club or the members can set up their own events by contacting each other online and arranging to meet.
Q. How do you join Have the Craic?
A. All you have to do to join is to sign up as a member. You need to come up with a user name which will identify you to other members on Have the Craic. You will also need to think of a password. Finally you will need to give us some details such as your email address. Then we will send you an email with a link to the email address that you have entered to make sure that you exist!
Q. How can I contact other members?
A. You can contact other members in many ways. You can put a comment on their profile - bear in mind that everyone will see this comment. Alternatively you can ask them to become a friend and send them a message. They will be notified by email to their private address that they have been sent a message by you. Then it is up to them to decide whether to message you back.
Q. How do I make the most of my profile?
A. If you want people to contact you and interact with you online we recommend that you put as much detail into your profile as you are comfortable with. For example, you should include a recent photo showing at least your head and shoulders. You should let people know what your interests are. Give them an idea of the kind of person you are and why you have joined Have the Craic so that they can decided if you are someone that they would like to get to know.
A. A wide range of people come to the events. It really depends on what interests people. Have the Craic brings people with the same interests together so you are likely to meet similar people at the events that interest you. If you are interested in wine you can be sure that you'll meet people who are also interested in wine at the Wine Tasting event. If general knowledge makes you jump for joy then you might find your soulmate at the pub quiz!
Q. Is Have the Craic a dating site?
A. No Have the Craic is a social club not a dating site. But if you want to date then we're right behind you encouraging you all the way. Our events focus on socialising, having a laugh and trying something new or making friends. It's a great way to get to know people and increase your circle of friends. And if you happen to meet your soulmate well then please let us know we're big soppy romantics at heart.

A. When you sign up for an event we text you to remind you that you've signed up for it. You'd be surprised how many people forget! And also if anything changes at the last minute it allows us to contact you easily.
